We are seeking a qualified and meticulous Accountant – Project Finance to join our finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project accounting, vendor payments, taxation, and compliance for large-scale infrastructure and real estate assignments. The role calls for a finance professional who can balance rigour with agility in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities include :

Project-Based Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple live projects using cost centre accounting.

• Track budgets vs. actuals and highlight key variances to the project delivery and leadership teams.

• Ensure timely and accurate expense booking and project MIS submissions.

Vendor Payment Processing

• Scrutinize work orders, validate bills against work completion, and process invoices with appropriate deductions.

• Manage advance payments, retention amounts, and reconciliation of contractor accounts.

• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure alignment of financial entries with project execution.

Client Billing & Receivables

• Prepare milestone-based client invoices in coordination with the project team.

• Maintain documentation (certificates, approvals, MOMs) for all billed milestones.

• Track receivables, manage ageing, and support the team in timely collections.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.

• File statutory returns and support external/internal audits.

• Handle tax reconciliations and coordinate with external consultants when required.

MIS & Financial Oversight

• Generate monthly project-wise MIS and support budget planning.

• Maintain ledger integrity, voucher trails, and document controls across functions.

• Assist in board reporting and fund utilization updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting. CA Inter preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in project-based accounting; real estate or infrastructure industry background preferred.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/project software is a plus.

• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and project-related taxation.

• Strong documentation, reconciliation, and financial accuracy skills.
