Job Description: Senior Accountant

• Review and manage accounts payable and receivable

• Create timely and accurate accounting reports

• Develop recommendations to optimize company's accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies

• Support and consult company's personnel on accounting control procedures

• Participate in department’s goal setting activities and month-end and year-end close processes

• Organize financial statements and budget preparation٫ accurately and timely

• Support business processes and accounting policies and prepare corresponding documentation

• Work together with financial and accounting manager to optimize financial operations

 Handle complicated and unresolved issues from subordinates

 Ability to make correspondences through emails

 High level/degree of creativity

 Knowledge of double entry system

 Work on day to day accounting activities

 Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly financial statements

 Processing and booking of invoice, payment process, GST, TDS, vendor reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations.

 Working on company owned Accounting software.

 Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.

 Manage statutory returns/paperwork.

 Working on data entries and vouchers on Tally ERP 9

• 3+ years' experience of working on a Financial Controller٫ Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant

• Profound experience with accounting procedures

• Good experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Good knowledge of financial accounting statements and business trends

• Good understanding of MS Office. Advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Effective management & communication skills

• Ability to thrive effectively under pressure

• Excellent presentation skills

• Good problem solving and people skills

• Result oriented and driven. Strong Interpersonal & Collaborative Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail
