Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.)
Maintain and reconcile cash book, bank book, and petty cash
Prepare vouchers (payment, receipt, journal, and contra)
Generate tax invoices for vehicle sales, service, and spare parts
Ensure accuracy in GST, discounts, and pricing as per OEM guidelines
Coordinate with the sales and service teams to validate billing
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Track cheque deposits, NEFTs, and POS settlements
Follow up on bounced cheques or pending payments
File monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
Maintain proper documentation for Input Tax Credit (ITC)
Support audits and ensure TDS, TCS, and other tax deductions are made as per law
Monitor and follow up on customer outstanding dues
Track supplier payments and ensure timely clearance
Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile statements
Coordinate with the parts department for stock movement and valuation
Ensure accurate accounting of spare parts, consumables, and accessories
Maintain asset registers for dealership equipment
Coordinate with HR to process monthly salaries
Ensure deduction and payment of PF, ESI, professional tax, and TDS
Generate payslips and maintain employee ledger
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports, cash flow statements, and other financial summaries
Submit reports to management on receivables, payables, revenue, and expenses
Assist in budget planning and variance analysis
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
Provide necessary records, ledgers, and compliance documents
Assist in closing year-end accounts
Ensure vehicle and parts billing entries are updated on OEM portals
Reconcile incentive claims and schemes with OEM systems
Maintain transparency in OEM claim settlement and fund flows
