Job Description: Account Executive

Position: Account Executive
Department: Accounts & Finance

Experience: 1–3 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting activities including vouchers, entries, and ledgers

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare and maintain purchase, sales, and expense records

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

• Prepare GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and assist in GST reconciliation

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.)

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits

• Maintain proper documentation of financial records

• Support senior accountants and finance managers in reporting and analysis

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Income Tax and TDS returns

• Experience in manufacturing or service industry accounting

• Basic understanding of compliance and audit processes

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Accuracy of accounting entries

• Timely filing of statutory returns

• Smooth month-end closing

• Audit compliance and documentation quality
