Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts as per statutory requirements and company policies.
Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions including purchase, sales, expenses, payroll, and fixed assets.
Ensure timely ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and closure of accounts.
Costing & Inventory Management
Monitor production costing and variance analysis.
Maintain raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory accounting.
Reconcile physical stock with book records and highlight discrepancies.
Taxation & Compliance
Handle GST, TDS, and other indirect/direct tax compliances.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under Companies Act and Income Tax.
Financial Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Generate MIS reports for management decision-making.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Audit & Internal Control
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
Ensure strong internal financial controls and compliance with accounting standards.
Implement process improvements to strengthen financial discipline.
Banking & Treasury Management
Manage daily cash flow, bank reconciliation, and fund requirements.
Liaise with banks for working capital, LC, and other facilities.
Monitor debtors and creditors for effective working capital management.
Team Supervision & Coordination
Guide junior accountants and accounts assistants.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales departments for smooth financial operations.
Ensure timely closing of books on a monthly and annual basis.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other compliances.
Experience in cost accounting and manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership qualities to manage a small finance team.
Should have successfully completed CA Intermediate – minimum Group I (Group II preferred).
