Job Title: Accountant – Jewellery Shop

Location: Pulpehladpur

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the accounts and financial activities of our jewellery showroom. The candidate should have knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and inventory management, especially in the jewellery/retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts (Day-to-day accounting, cash, sales & purchase entries).

Manage accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciliation, and GST compliance.

Prepare invoices, bills, and handle petty cash transactions.

Monitor stock/inventory records (gold, silver, diamond, gemstones, etc.).

Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal staff regarding accounts.

Generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.).

Ensure compliance with company policies, taxation laws, and statutory requirements.

Support management with financial planning and cost control.

Requirements:

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Experience: 6 months –5 years (preferably in jewellery/retail industry).

Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation norms.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Good communication & interpersonal skills.
