Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting operations, data entry, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers

• Support in maintaining financial records and ensuring proper documentation

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes

• Reconcile bank statements and report discrepancies

• Handle petty cash transactions and entries

• Support the senior accountant in audits and internal financial reviews

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns (if applicable)

Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of Tally ERP/Busy/Zoho Books or similar accounting software

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts and standards

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
