🧭 Job Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Account Head to lead our accounting operations and financial planning. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting function, ensure regulatory compliance, manage financial reporting, and contribute to the organization’s financial strategy and performance.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the accounting team to drive a high-performance culture.

• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and provide training and development opportunities.

• Define goals and KPIs to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate tax filings (income tax, GST, etc.) and work with external auditors for statutory audits.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Formulate annual budgets and monitor financial performance.

• Provide variance analysis with corrective action plans.

• Drive forecasting processes and advise leadership on financial planning.

Financial Analysis & Strategy

• Analyze financial trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance profitability.

• Support strategic business decisions with financial models and insights.

Cash Flow Management

• Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.

• Oversee payables and receivables for timely settlements and collections.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and data integrity.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main liaison for all accounting-related internal and external queries.

• Present clear and concise financial reports to senior management and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Process Improvement

• Continuously improve accounting systems, tools, and procedures.

• Introduce and enforce best practices aligned with industry standards.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

• Provide financial insights that shape company strategy.

• Prepare executive-level reports on financial performance and strategic initiatives.

✅ Requirements:

Education:

• CA, CA Intern, or CS preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance leadership.

• Exposure to financial modeling, compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS), and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in financial forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• CTC: ₹5.40 LPA – ₹6.60 LPA (Negotiable as per experience)

• Net Salary: Based on candidate profile and negotiation
