Job Description – Finance & Accounting Executive (with GST & Tally Filing)

Position Title: Finance & Accounting Executive
Location: Coimbatore
Department: Finance & Accounts

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Executive with hands-on experience in accounting operations, GST compliance, and Tally ERP. The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, ensuring timely GST and tax filings, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records in Tally ERP.

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

• Generate GST-compliant invoices and ensure proper tax calculations.

• File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.) on time.

• Track and claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) and reconcile with GST portal.

• Assist in filing Income Tax returns (TDS, advance tax, annual returns, etc.).

• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.

• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.

• Stay updated with the latest GST, TDS, and tax compliance requirements.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP (mandatory).

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple compliance requirements.
