Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

• Manage payroll, tax filings, and GST returns.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

• Coordinate with auditors and support year-end audit processes.

• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and billing.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and GST compliance.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA-Inter or M.Com (Optional but advantageous).

• Experience in [industry, e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, or trading] is a plus.
