Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong focus on balance sheet preparation, reconciliation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial position through a comprehensive understanding and management of balance sheet accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets.
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in balance sheet accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring balance sheet completeness and accuracy.
Work closely with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Maintain and monitor internal controls related to balance sheet processes.
Collaborate with other finance team members to support forecasting and budgeting related to balance sheet items.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
