Job Description – Account Executive (Accounts)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to join our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and bills.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

• Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and banking activities.

• Generate MIS reports for management review.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (M.Com or MBA preferred).

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software and MS Excel.

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
