Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in TDS, GST filings, Tax Returns, and Audit support. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian taxation laws and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and filing of TDS returns

• Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns

• Support internal and statutory audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance

• Ensure compliance with all tax and financial regulations

• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as required

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax

• Familiarity with audit processes

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar accounting software

• Good understanding of MS Excel and financial reporting

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in accounting and taxation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a CA firm or accounting consultancy

• Knowledge of ROC filings is a plus

Salary: 20,000 to 25,000
