Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic FMCG environment. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial statements

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, and other tax filings

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

• Assist in internal audits

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for expense tracking and budget allocations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter or M.Com preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in FMCG or consumer goods sector

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial systems

• Good communication and organizational skills
