Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• General Accounting: Maintain and update general ledger entries; process invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card transactions, and inter-company transactions.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings, including VAT/GST, corporate tax, and other statutory reports, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation and schedules required for audits and liaise with auditors during the audit process.

• Cost Analysis: Monitor expenses and perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction or financial efficiency.

• Financial Controls: Assist in developing and maintaining financial controls to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.

• Software & Systems: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for efficient and accurate record-keeping.
