Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Oversee vendor invoice processing, including validation, booking, and ensuring timely payment as per agreed terms.
Handle e-Invoicing compliance, generation, and reconciliation in accordance with GST regulations.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation) and TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Monitor and reconcile input tax credit (ITC), ensuring proper documentation and rectification of mismatches.
Manage monthly closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and accruals.
Prepare MIS reports related to income, expenses, profitability, and vendor ageing to support management decision-making.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal and statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
Stay updated on amendments in taxation laws (GST, TDS) and assess their impact on accounting processes.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., HR, operations, legal) to support cross-functional financial requirements.
Manage end-to-end bank-related activities, including opening of current accounts, coordinating with bank officials, and ensuring compliance with KYC norms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.Com/M.Com or equivalent; CA Inter or relevant certifications (preferred).
Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and e-Invoicing.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
Proficient in Excel and capable of generating analytical MIS reports.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
