Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime to manage our day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing accounts for startups or EdTech companies and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts using Tally (ERP 9/Prime)

• Record and manage journal entries, payments, receipts, and reconciliations

• Handle GST, TDS, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements

• Manage vendor payments and employee reimbursements

• Monitor cash flow and budgeting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in startups or EdTech companies)

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime is a must

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic accounting software

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI regulations

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
