Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and verify financial statements, invoices, and vouchers.

• Process accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

• Prepare tax returns and coordinate audits.

• Generate financial reports for management review.

• Maintain accurate and timely filing of accounting documents.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Support other departments with financial data and reporting as required.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).

• Advanced MS Excel skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organisational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
