Job Description
· Team Management: Oversee and manage the accounting and compliance team, ensuring their skill development through training and supervision.
· Process Optimization: Implement systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
· Tax Compliance: Independently prepare and file various tax returns, including GST and TDS.
· Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide accurate and timely insights.
· Transaction Recording: Accurately record all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and reconcile accounts to maintain consistency.
· Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and ledger maintenance.
· Management Reporting: Assist the finance team in preparing various management reports.
· Audits: Coordinate semi-annual audits and actively participate in the audit process under the guidance of the CFO.
· Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and accounting principles.
· Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
· Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting issues.
· Interpersonal Skills: Effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
