We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, ledgers, and reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ensure timely closing of books and financial reporting.

3. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/Ind-AS).

• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

4. Cash Flow & Banking

• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and fund management.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and coordinate with financial institutions.

5. Systems & Process Management

• Maintain accounting systems/software (Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks/SAP).

• Suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
