Core responsibilities
Protect premises:
Patrolling areas, conducting regular rounds, and securing buildings by checking doors, windows, and other entry points.
Monitor security:
Watching surveillance cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems, and reporting any suspicious activity.
Control access:
Authorizing and monitoring the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to ensure only authorized personnel are on the premises.
Respond to emergencies:
Acting as the first responder to alarms, accidents, fires, or medical emergencies. This includes assisting in evacuations and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency medical personnel.
Investigate and report:
Investigating security breaches, incidents, and disturbances, and preparing detailed incident reports on all activities.
Enforce rules:
Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and handling conflicts or disturbances as needed.
