As we scale our services across locations, we are looking for a committed Transport Manager who can ensure seamless and sustainable movement of people, produce, and plated meals.
Logistics Planning: Design and manage daily transportation schedules for ingredients, finished meals, and staff transfers across central kitchens and corporate client sites.
Fleet Management: Oversee maintenance, fuel consumption, insurance, and documentation of company-owned or vendor vehicles.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with transport service providers and negotiate contracts ensuring reliability, punctuality, and cost efficiency.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure full adherence to all transport regulations (RTO, FSSAI in transit, etc.) and Food Whisperer’s internal SOPs.
Real-Time Monitoring: Implement and manage GPS tracking, route optimization tools, and emergency response protocols.
Sustainability Initiatives: Proactively support our mission for greener logistics — including vehicle pooling, EV adoption, and route minimization.
Team Leadership: Supervise drivers, helpers, and ground logistics staff; schedule shifts and performance reviews.
Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transport/logistics operations, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
Strong understanding of local transportation laws and routes.
Proven ability to handle time-sensitive and temperature-sensitive food deliveries.
Tech-savvy — hands-on experience with GPS, route planning, and fleet management software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
