We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Civil Quality Engineer (Waterproofing) to ensure the quality, performance, and compliance of waterproofing works at our project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with specific experience in the inspection, testing, and documentation of waterproofing systems for concrete structures, basements, rooftops, wet areas, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and quality checks on waterproofing activities as per project specifications, drawings, and approved method statements.
Ensure proper installation of waterproofing systems such as bituminous membranes, cementitious coatings, liquid membranes, PU injections, and other sealing systems.
Review and verify waterproofing material submittals, test certificates, and manufacturer data sheets.
Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, construction drawings, and safety regulations during execution.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and material suppliers to resolve quality-related issues on waterproofing works.
Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when work or materials deviate from the approved standards and follow up on corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality control documentation.
Conduct third-party and onsite testing for waterproofing materials and applications (e.g., adhesion, elongation, tensile strength, water tightness).
Ensure proper surface preparation and application methods are followed as per manufacturer guidelines.
Support project handover by compiling QA/QC documentation, test reports, and as-built records.
