JOB TITLE: Purchase Executive

DEPARMENT: Procurement/ Purchase

LOCATION: Jamshedpur

SUMMARY: The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing materials or goods to meet the requirements of the company. This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring the timely delivery of quality products and maintaining cost efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Maintain relationship with key suppliers.

·         Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

·         Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.

·         Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods with proper details.

·         Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock availability.

·         Plan and execute inventory strategies.

·         Analyze and manage costs to ensure alignment with budget.

·         Identify cost saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.

·         Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.

·         Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         2-5 years of experience in purchase or procurement roles.

·         Good negotiation and communication skills.

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
