Job Summary:
The Picker and Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role ensures that all products are handled with care, meet quality standards, and are dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Picking:
Read and understand picking lists and order forms.
Accurately locate and pick items from inventory shelves or bins.
Check item codes, quantities, and conditions to ensure order accuracy.
2. Packing:
Carefully pack products using appropriate packaging materials.
Label packages with correct shipping information.
Ensure packed goods meet quality and safety standards.
3. Inventory Handling:
Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
Assist in stock replenishment and organization of shelves or bins.
4. General Warehouse Support:
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Assist with loading and unloading goods if required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Minimum [High School Diploma or equivalent].
Previous experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to read and understand order slips and instructions.
Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
