Picker / Packer

A picker packer is responsible for fulfilling customer orders in a warehouse or distribution center by selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment:

  Picking items from shelves based on order slips (paper or digital) and verifying the correct items and quantities are selected. 

• Packing:

  Carefully packing picked items into appropriate containers (boxes, crates, etc.), ensuring items are protected during transit. 

• Shipping Preparation:

  Labeling packages with correct shipping information and preparing them for shipment. 

• Inventory Management:

  May be involved in tasks like restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and reporting discrepancies. 

• Safety and Quality:

  Maintaining a safe and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting any quality issues or hazards.
