Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate:

• Receiving and Processing:

  • Receiving incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders, and unloading goods. 

  • Scanning and logging inventory into a system. 

  • Inspecting goods for damage or defects. 

• Inventory Management:

  • Storing and organizing inventory in designated locations. 

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records using computer systems. 

  • Performing cycle counts and physical inventory checks. 

• Order Fulfillment:

  • Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately. 

  • Labeling and preparing packages for shipping. 

  • Ensuring proper packaging and labeling for transportation. 

• Equipment Operation:

  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. 

• Safety and Cleanliness:

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 

  • Following safety procedures and guidelines. 

• Other Tasks:

  • May include assisting with loading and unloading trucks. 

  • May also be responsible for data entry and communication with other team members.
