Dispatch Executive

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Coordination:

    • Arrange appropriate vehicles based on the nature, type, and volume of materials to be dispatched.

    • Assess and select the correct type of vehicle required for different materials to ensure safe and efficient transport.

  • Dispatch Planning & Execution:

    • Schedule dispatches in a timely and cost-effective manner.

    • Communicate with transporters and drivers for on-time availability and dispatch updates.

  • Loading & Unloading Supervision:

    • Supervise manpower during loading and unloading of pumps and other equipment to ensure safety and proper handling.

    • Verify material is loaded/unloaded as per documentation and quality standards.

  • Material Management:

    • Maintain and verify records of inward and outward materials.

    • Ensure timely updating of dispatch documents, delivery challans, and logs.

  • Coordination & Communication:

    • Liaise with warehouse, production, and procurement teams for dispatch scheduling.

    • Address issues or delays in transport or material handling effectively.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.

    • Maintain accurate and updated dispatch logs and records for audit purposes.

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience in dispatch or logistics coordination (2+ years preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle types and logistics operations

  • Ability to handle manpower and coordinate multiple dispatches simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, ERP or dispatch software knowledge is a plus)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, sound decisions
