Restaurant Captain

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our service team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage a team to deliver excellent dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the dining area floor staff.

• Welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure excellent guest service.

• Train, guide, and motivate service staff to deliver high standards.

• Take and serve food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and proper service.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the service area.

• Ensure table settings, menus, and ambiance meet quality expectations.

• Upsell menu items and promotions to maximize revenue.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role (Captain/Steward).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of F&B service and customer service standards.

• Ability to lead a team and work under pressure.

• Basic knowledge of POS systems preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
