Job Summary:
The kitchen staff is responsible for basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, assisting cooks or chefs, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Also oversees daily kitchen operations, ensures hygiene standards, supervises kitchen staff, coordinates food prep, and supports the Head Chef in maintaining quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation such as washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Dispose of waste and manage kitchen inventory under guidance.
Support cooks during service time with ingredient fetching or plating.
Receive and store deliveries properly.
Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff or supervisor.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not mandatory).
