Job Description:

As a Video Editor at Newslions Media, you'll be responsible for editing short-form videos, reels, and social media content to captivate audiences and drive virality. You'll work on raw footage, add effects, music, and transitions to produce polished, shareable videos. If you're a social ninja with a keen eye for spotting trending content and transforming it into viral sensations, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit videos for social media platforms, ensuring they are engaging, fast-paced, and optimised for virality.

- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas and refine edits based on feedback.

- Handle basic colour correction, sound mixing, and visual effects.

- Stay updated on social media trends to inform editing styles.

Requirements:

- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in video editing.

- Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

- Immediate availability to join (no notice period).

- Strong portfolio or samples of edited work (even personal projects).

Preferences:

- Candidates who have experience editing their reels/videos on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube will be given priority.

- A passion for social media and an intuitive sense for what makes content go viral.
