As a Senior Admission Counsellor, your job is to talk to people who are interested in online courses, understand what they want, and guide them towards choosing the right course. You’ll help them book video calls with expert counsellors who can help them enroll.
Think of yourself as the first friendly contact at upGrad for future students.
Call people using an auto-dialer system.
Understand their interests, needs, and whether they qualify for a course.
Build trust through clear and polite communication.
Book at least 5 video counselling sessions per day.
Update all conversations in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Coordinate between the student and the counsellor.
Strong English communication (speaking and listening).
Ability to understand people’s needs with empathy and patience.
Good at convincing people to attend counselling.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and using a CRM system.
