Handling counselling via multiple channels including telephone calls, chats emails
Handling Admission seekers for the courses offered by the university
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Essential for interacting with students, families, and other stakeholders.
Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Needed to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Knowledge of Admissions Procedures and Requirements: A deep understanding of the admissions process and related policies.
Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Counselors need to be self-motivated while also collaborating with colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Often required for record-keeping and communication.
Bachelor's Degree: Typically required, often in education, counselling
Experience in Admissions or Counseling: Previous experience in a similar role can be beneficial.
