A pest control technician's primary role is to manage and eliminate pest infestations in various settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspections:

  Thoroughly examining properties for signs of pests, including insects, rodents, and other wildlife. 

• Treatment Application:

  Using various methods, including pesticides, traps, and other control measures, to eliminate pests while adhering to safety guidelines. 

• Customer Communication:

  Effectively communicating with clients about pest problems, treatment plans, and preventative strategies. 

• Record Keeping:

  Maintaining detailed records of inspections, treatments, materials used, and customer interactions. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals. 

• Product Knowledge:

  Understanding the properties and safe application of various pest control products. 

• Problem Solving:

  Analyzing pest problems, identifying the root cause, and developing effective solutions. 

• Teamwork:

  Collaborating with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective pest control services. 

• Physical Stamina:

  Being able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions. 

• Customer Service:

  Providing excellent customer service by addressing concerns and building positive relationships. 

• Follow-up:

  Ensuring that treatments are effective and following up with customers to address any ongoing issues. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Pest Control Knowledge: A strong understanding of different types of pests, their life cycles, and effective control methods. 

• Chemical Handling: Knowledge of pesticides, their safe application, and proper disposal procedures. 

• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze pest problems and develop effective solutions.
