Senior Operation Theatre Technician

• Prepare the Operation Theatre for all scheduled surgeries in advance.

• Handle, check, and sterilize instruments and equipment.

• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by organizing instruments and delivering them promptly.

• Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the OT at all times.

• Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to avoid breakdowns.

• Keep proper inventories of instruments, implants, and consumable stocks.

• Ensure proper disposal of waste and sharps following hospital protocols.

• Guide and supervise junior OT Technicians in their duties.

• Prepare and maintain reports and documents related to OT usage.

• Handle emergencies efficiently and respond promptly under pressure.
