Battery Pack Assembler – Lithium-Ion (18650/21700) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented technician to join our team as a Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Assembler. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling, testing, and maintaining custom Li-Ion battery packs, including configurations such as 1S2P, 2S1P, 3S3P, etc. This role requires practical knowledge of battery safety, spot welding, BMS integration, and quality control procedures. Key Responsibilities Assemble lithium-ion battery packs (e.g., 18650, 21700 cells) in series and parallel configurations Perform spot welding of nickel strips to cells using spot welding machines Install and connect Battery Management Systems (BMS) correctly Test individual cells for voltage, IR (internal resistance), and performance Perform capacity testing and balancing of cells before pack assembly Apply insulation, heat shrink, and secure packaging to assembled battery packs Monitor safety procedures to prevent overcharge, short circuits, and thermal risks Troubleshoot faulty battery packs and repair/rebuild if necessary Maintain clean and organized workspace with ESD safety in mind Maintain production records and log cell/batch information Qualifications 10th pass / ITI / Diploma (Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred) Basic understanding of electrical circuits, voltage, current, and resistance Hands-on experience with Li-ion cell types (INR, ICR, NMC, LFP) is a plus Experience with spot welders, multimeters, power supplies, and battery chargers Ability to read battery schematics and wiring diagrams Awareness of lithium battery safety protocols and hazards Skills Required Manual dexterity and attention to detail Soldering skills (preferred) Knowledge of 1S–4S battery configuration standards Familiarity with battery balancing and protection circuits Ability to work independently or in a team setting Job Type & Compensation Job Type: Full-time / Contract / Part-time Location: [Your City / Workshop Name] Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹14,000 per month (based on experience) Work Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon–Sat) Additional Benefits On-the-job training available PPE and tools provided Performance bonuses for bulk orders Career growth in battery/EV tech sector
