Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Analyst Trainer to join our learning and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs in data analysis, guiding learners through hands-on exercises, and preparing them for real-world analytics roles. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with effective communication and teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions on data analytics tools and concepts, both live and pre-recorded.

• Design and update curriculum, lesson plans, slides, exercises, and assessments tailored to industry standards.

• Teach foundational and advanced topics including:

  • Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)

  • SQL (data querying, joins, aggregations)

  • Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib/seaborn)

  • Power BI and/or Tableau (visualizations, dashboards)

  • Statistical Analysis and Data Interpretation

• Support learners via doubt-clearing sessions, mentoring, project reviews, and career guidance.

• Evaluate learner progress through quizzes, assignments, capstone projects, and one-on-one feedback.

• Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and the tech team to improve delivery and learner outcomes.

• Stay updated on trends in data analytics and integrate emerging tools and best practices into training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on industry experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role.

• 1+ year of experience in training, teaching, or mentoring in an academic or corporate environment.

• Proficiency in:

  • Excel, SQL

  • Python (data analysis and visualization libraries)

  • BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Strong understanding of data cleaning, analysis, reporting, and visualization.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to teach complex concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging way.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Teaching certifications or credentials (e.g., Train the Trainer, Certified Instructor)

• Professional certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Desktop Specialist)

• Experience with:

  • R or other statistical tools

  • Git and version control

  • Basic machine learning concepts

  • Cloud data tools (BigQuery, AWS, etc.)
