We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to join our dynamic travel team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in itinerary planning and sales. You will be responsible for managing high-value client accounts, handling complex travel arrangements, and mentoring junior consultants.
Provide expert advice and customized travel solutions for leisure, corporate, and group travelers.
Create and manage end-to-end travel itineraries including flights, accommodations, ground transport, tours, and travel insurance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa requirements, travel restrictions, and destination-specific regulations.
Utilize booking systems to reserve flights and other travel services.
Deliver excellent customer service pre-trip, during travel, and post-travel.
Maintain and grow a portfolio of loyal clients through proactive engagement and relationship management.
Monitor client preferences and travel history to offer personalized recommendations.
Stay informed of industry trends, promotional offers, and supplier updates.
Assist with complaint resolution and manage changes or cancellations effectively.
Support the training and development of junior travel consultants.
Achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a travel consulting or tourism role.
Proficiency in global distribution systems.
Strong knowledge of international destinations, travel logistics, and tourism products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell and close deals.
High attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Customer-first mindset with a passion for travel.
Certification in Travel & Tourism or equivalent is preferred.
Experience with group and incentive travel planning.
Multilingual abilities are an asset.
Familiarity with CRM systems and travel booking platforms.
Knowledge of sustainability trends in tourism.
