Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Solar Sales

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our solar sales operations in the southern region, including Chennai, Bangalore, and across Karnataka. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in solar product sales, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in the solar industry.
Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives and Channel Partners.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, EPC companies, and distributors.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Ensure regular reporting on sales performance and forecasting.
Organize product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions with clients.
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, service) to ensure smooth execution.
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and marketing campaigns.
Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in solar sales (rooftop/commercial/industrial/ground-mounted projects).
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, products, and the renewable energy sector.
Proven ability to lead regional sales and achieve targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Salary: As per industry standards + Incentives + Allowances.
