Job Responsibility of a Sales Engineer.

5.Key relationships- INTERNAL Sales, R&D, QC, Production, Automation & PURCHASE, Stores, and other

SupportFunctions.

EXTERNAL -Customers, Dealers & Vendors, if required.

6.Key Responsibility

 Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineeringadaptations of products, equipment, and services.

 Identifies current and future customer service requirements byestablishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers andothers in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineeringinformation by answering questions and requests.

 Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potentialcustomers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.

 Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents,consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.

 Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios ofequipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environmentand engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use ofmaterials or services.

 Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating costreductions and operations improvements.

 Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costingengineering changes.

 Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information andtraining.

 Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, andsummarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attendingeducational workshops, reviewing professional publications,establishing personal networks, and participating in professionalsocieties.

 Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-termand long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending optionsand courses of action, and implementing directives.

 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

8. Experience

 Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience of Sales in the Manufacturing orMarketing Industry.

 Fresh with a good academic record & sound technical knowledge can be considered.

9. Qualification

 B.com Diploma / Degree in Sales & Marketing

Age up to 35 years
