Relationship Officer

Core Responsibilities:

• Sales and Business Development:

  Promoting and selling life insurance products directly to individuals, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and generating new business. 

• Client Relationship Management:

  Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing excellent customer service throughout the policy lifecycle. 

• Product Knowledge:

  Keeping up-to-date with the company's product offerings, understanding features, benefits, and suitability for different customer profiles. 

• Sales Process Management:

  Guiding clients through the sales process, from initial contact to policy issuance and potentially assisting with post-sales requirements like claims. 

• Meeting Targets:

  Consistently achieving individual and team sales targets, often measured by premium collection, policy issuance, or other key performance indicators. 

• Customer Service:

  Providing excellent customer service, addressing client queries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

• Compliance:

  Adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices. 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial or insurance sector. 

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients. 

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain long-term relationships with clients. 

• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with life insurance products and the ability to explain them clearly to clients. 

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve client issues. 

• Negotiation and Persuasion: Skills to effectively negotiate and persuade clients to purchase suitable insurance products. 

• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve client issues and challenges. 

• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets. 

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.

  Oversees a team of sales representatives, manages sales targets, and ensures compliance in a specific geographic area.

  Focuses on developing new business opportunities and expanding the company's customer base.
