Purchase Executive

• Source and procure raw materials such as PVC-coated fabrics, HDPE, PTFE fabrics, aluminum profiles, steel structures, ropes, hardware, and fasteners.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers locally and internationally for quality, cost, and timely delivery.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.

• Coordinate with the stores and production departments to monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory control.

• Raise purchase requisitions based on production plans and maintain minimum stock levels to avoid delays.

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in line with internal approvals and budgets.

• For imported goods, manage documentation, follow up with freight forwarders, and coordinate with customs clearance agents.

• Ensure all purchases comply with company procurement policies, taxation (GST), and quality standards.

•  Ensure timely procurement of materials needed for specific projects or installations of tensile structures.

• Quickly source materials or alternatives during urgent or unplanned project requirements.

• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and resolve any disputes related to quality, pricing, or deliveries.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on lead time, cost competitiveness, and product quality.

• Compare supplier quotes and analyze landed cost, including duties and transport, to make procurement cost-efficient.

•  Maintain updated procurement logs and reports for internal audits and management review.

• Enter POs and goods receipt details into ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Inventory).

•  Ensure procurement records are accurate and up-to-date to support financial and production planning.
