Hotel Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by maximizing room sales, banquet/events bookings, and corporate partnerships. This role requires proactive business development, account management, and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients in line with the hotel's revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.

• Identify new business opportunities in corporate, travel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure segments.

• Maintain strong knowledge of competing hotels and market trends.
  

2. Business Development

• Source and develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event organizers.

• Conduct site inspections, presentations, and hotel tours for potential clients.

• Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry expos.
  

3. Account Management

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts to maximize repeat business and referrals.

• Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages for rooms, banquets, and events.

• Track and monitor client satisfaction, feedback, and retention.
  

4. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and branding.

• Coordinate with the front office, F&B, and banqueting teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Assist revenue management with forecasting and inventory control.
  

5. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including lead conversions, revenue forecasts, and pipeline status.

• Maintain updated records in the CRM system.

• Achieve or exceed KPIs (e.g., sales targets, room night targets, banquet revenue).
