We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of insurance products to potential corporate clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of insurance offerings, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels (networking, cold calls, referrals, etc.).
Client Consultations: Meet with Managers/HR/Accounts/Management of corporate/MSME companies to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide accurate information to clients.
Sales & Negotiation: Present insurance options, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet individual and team sales targets.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Customer Support: Assist clients with any post-sale inquiries, claims, and policy modifications.
Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM software.
Collaboration: Work closely with the underwriting and claims departments to ensure smooth processing of policies and claims.
Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions and seminars to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of insurance products, services, and industry regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Goal-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Bachelor’s degree in any stream, (business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.)
