Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Specialist for an event agency is responsible for generating leads, driving sales and implementing marketing strategies to promote the agency's event services. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, marketing knowledge, and a deep understanding of the event industry. The sales and marketing specialist will collaborate with the agency's team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns, build strong client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients retain existing ones. Identify new clients and proactively reach out to them through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads, following up with prospects, and converting opportunities into revenue.
2.Marketing and Promotion;
Develop and execute marketing plans to raise brand awareness and promote the agency’s event services. Create compelling marketing content, including brochures, presentations, website copy, social media posts, and email campaigns.
Utilize digital marketing channels, such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO) ,and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising to drive traffic and generate leads. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
3.Client Relationship Management;
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their event needs, and providing tailored solutions. Serve as the main point of contact for cliends, addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring exceptional customer service. Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase the agencys capabilities and propose event ideas.
4.Market Research and Analysis;
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to refine sales and marketing strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing efforts and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the event industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of digital marketing channels and techniques.
PowerPoint presentation skills is a must.
Familiarity with event planning and management processes is a plus.
