We are looking for a passionate and performance-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and empower our sales team towards achieving monthly and quarterly revenue goals. The role includes training new and existing sales executives, closely monitoring lead follow-ups, and building strong personal relationships with clients to ensure long-term association and recurring business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales strategy, team leadership, and fitness industry dynamics.
Sales Team Training & Monitoring
Train new joinees on product knowledge, client pitching, and sales closing.
Conduct regular refreshers for the sales team to improve conversion techniques.
Monitor daily leads assigned to team members via CRM or manual trackers.
Review quotation status, follow-ups, and client interactions to ensure professionalism and closure.
Support team members during complex or high-value deals.
Revenue Generation
Create monthly sales targets and track team performance.
Develop strategies to increase sales of full gym setups and individual equipment.
Identify and implement improvements in the lead-to-sale process to increase conversion rates.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely quotation sharing and client follow-up.
Client Relationship Building
Personally engage with high-potential or key clients to build long-term relationships.
Ensure client satisfaction, timely delivery, and address escalations when needed.
Encourage referrals and repeat business through relationship-driven engagement.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with the warehouse, technical, and admin teams to ensure seamless operations.
Share weekly performance reports with senior management.
Maintain accurate sales records and ensure timely updating of lead trackers.
Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Relationship-driven personality with persuasive interpersonal skills
Good understanding of fitness/gym equipment (preferred)
CRM/lead tracker usage and data handling proficiency
Target-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of sales/business development experience
Prior experience in fitness, wellness, or B2C equipment sales is a strong advantage
Proven experience in leading or mentoring a sales team
