Academic Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Advising:

   • Help students choose courses based on their interests, academic performance, and career goals.

   • Assist with course registration and scheduling.

2. Academic Planning:

   • Create personalized academic plans and monitor students’ progress.

   • Provide guidance on graduation requirements.

3. Support Services:

   • Identify students facing academic difficulties and offer resources such as tutoring or workshops.

   • Refer students to mental health or personal counseling services when needed.

4. Career and Educational Guidance:

   • Discuss career paths and suggest further education options (e.g., higher studies, certifications).

   • Help with college/university applications, SOPs, and scholarship opportunities.

5. Communication and Liaison:

   • Serve as a bridge between students and faculty.

   • Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports.

6. Workshops and Seminars:

   • Conduct sessions on time management, study skills, career planning, and exam strategies.
