Job Summary:

The Store Incharge at Gyan Dairy will be responsible for managing the inventory and supplies required for daily operations. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of all raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and finished goods. The role requires strict adherence to quality standards, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), hygiene protocols, and coordination with procurement, production, and finance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all stock (inward & outward).

  • Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.

  • Implement and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.

• Material Handling & Storage:

  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging items as per SOPs.

  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store area as per dairy industry standards.

  • Label materials correctly with batch number, expiry date, and manufacturing details.

• Receiving & Dispatch:

  • Verify quantity and quality of materials received.

  • Coordinate with production and logistics for timely material issuance and dispatch.

  • Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other related documents.

Coordination:

• Work closely with the procurement team for stock replenishment.

• Provide accurate inventory data to the accounts team for audits.

• Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 12 th pass or graduate

• Familiar with inventory management software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and record-keeping.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
