Job Purpose:
The Field Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for field and plant-level roles such as operators, technicians, and support staff. The role involves traveling to local markets, institutes, and rural areas to conduct recruitment drives, coordinate interviews, and ensure smooth onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing & Outreach:
o Visit ITIs, polytechnic colleges, and local communities to attract suitable candidates.
o Build and maintain relationships with training institutes, skill centers, and local influencers.
o Utilize job portals, references, and walk-in drives to source profiles.
• Recruitment Activities:
o Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate final interviews with concerned managers.
o Manage job fairs, walk-ins, and campus drives at plant or field locations.
o Ensure timely documentation and background verification of shortlisted candidates.
• Onboarding:
o Coordinate with the HR team to ensure smooth joining formalities at the plant/site.
o Collect necessary documents and provide orientation to new hires.
• Reporting:
o Maintain candidate trackers and submit daily/weekly reports on hiring progress.
o Report challenges faced during field recruitment and suggest improvements.
• Coordination:
o Work closely with plant HR and line managers to understand hiring needs.
o Support payroll documentation and attendance compliance for newly joined employees.
