is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR and contribute to the smooth operation of our HR functions. The HR Intern will work closely with HR professionals, assisting with daily tasks and projects while developing a strong understanding of HR principles and practices. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to launch their careers in Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Assist with posting job openings on various platforms.

    • Support the screening and initial review of resumes and applications.

    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.

    • Assist in conducting initial phone screenings.

    • Prepare and organize new hire paperwork and onboarding materials.

    • Support the new employee orientation process.

  • Employee Records & Administration:

    • Maintain and update employee databases and records with accuracy and confidentiality.

    • Assist with the preparation of HR-related documents, such as offer letters and employment contracts.

    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs.

    • Assist with the tracking of employee attendance, leaves, and other relevant data.

    • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

  • Employee Relations:

    • Assist in handling basic employee inquiries and providing information on HR policies and procedures.

    • Support the HR team in organizing employee engagement activities and events.

    • Maintain confidentiality in all employee-related matters.

  • Learning & Development:

    • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of training sessions and workshops.

    • Help prepare training materials and track employee participation.

  • HR Projects & Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR team on various projects and initiatives.

    • Conduct research on HR best practices and assist in policy development.

    • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations.

    • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or team members.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  

  • Strong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other HR software.

  • Knowledge of basic labor laws and regulations.
